*Client Care Assistant*
(Casual Position)

The Thorpe Recovery Centre is a vibrant and growing addictions treatment facility whose mandate is to provide client-centred and community based addictions services. We offer Residential Chemical Dependency and Gambling Treatment, Family Program as well as Social Detoxification.

Position Description:

We are currently seeking Casual Client Care Assistants. This is a shift work position with monthly scheduled shifts. This includes weekends, evenings, and nights. The successful candidates will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and work well as part of a team. This position requires people with a great attitude towards our clientele, while maintaining strong professional boundaries. Responsibilities will include supporting clients, client admissions and documentation, and monitoring the front desk and telephones. Other skills required to excel in this position are: knowledge of the 12 step program or general recovery process, computer skills, the ability to communicate effectively and a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess Grade 12 or equivalency. A criminal record check is also required.
