Director of Clinical Services - Lisa Luciano, PhD., CSAT - S
Lisa Luciano has been working in the field of addiction for over 18 years. Dr. Luciano joined the Thorpe Recovery Centre in the fall of 2008 as the Director of Clinical Services and is responsible for the ongoing evaluation and development of Thorpe Recovery Centre’s residential, outpatient, detox and transition programs. She is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH), and is a member in good standing with the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF). Lisa also holds the designation of International Certified Co-Occuring Disorders Professional Diplomate (ICCDPD). Dr. Luciano published her PhD work: “Addiction Treatment for Youth and Its Impact on Mental Illness: How Adolescent Treatment for Addiction Impacts the Symptoms of Mental Illness.” She is currently involved in continuing professional development and the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and she is on their referral roster of sex addiction therapists.
