The primary purpose of this specialized service is to provide information, assessment and individual counselling to individuals twenty years of age and under who are experiencing problems directly related to alcohol, drugs, or gambling.

Services include:

• Basic intake
• Assessment
• Referrals
• Individual counselling
• Public information presentations on addictions, prevention, & education

The Thorpe Recovery Centre has a counsellor specialized in this area who provides all of the above listed services in the Lloydminster and surrounding area.

• To access this service, call (780) 872-0505 to request an appointment
• A parent or legal guardian is asked to attend the first appointment. They will spend the first fifteen (15) minutes with the counsellor.
